Memories are stored in colours. The rich hues of a rainbow fill your mind, even if you’re unaware of it. Think back to the red lust of your youth. Her cherry lips. Your fiery hearts. The sweet smell of crimson roses. Then look into the blue of your mind. The sorrow. Tears shed over death. Those eyes, hard as sapphires, laden with your pain and my guilt. The note left in blue biro. The best memories are the yellow days of happiness. The sunshine on the day you met. An endless field of buttercups. The golden ring of forever.
This is a 99 word story I wrote for my english class, Just thought I’d share it with you all.
So for some reason I had the urge to look at my Harry Potter books today. I got rather excited when I thought that my copy of the first book might have been a first edition.
After looking around for awhile, I discovered that the first 3 books all have “Fist published in …” in them, and there is actually a line of number that shows what edition it is.
My get rich quick plans died as quickly as they sprung up.
But then I decided to look at my other books. Turn out the Prisoner of Azkaban is actually a First Edition, First Printing, First Issue. Plus an uncorrected text block on Page 7 and copyright Joanne Rowling (rather than JK Rowling).
I didn’t look a lot farther than that, but it looks like it might be worth a decent amount. So that’s fun.
So if you got into harry potter early, check out the copyright page of your first three books. Look for a number string – 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1. If you find that, you might be in luck. =D

During November last year, I stumbled upon a video contest, entitled “My Computer Nightmare“. The task was to create a short video showing your worst computer nightmare. I was however very disappointed when I found out that it was only open to certain countries, and Australia wasn’t one of them. So I just left it alone and went on looking for more contest.
But Yesterday I decided to go back, and see how it was getting on. I was quite disappointed to see that it only had 34 entries.
I see a lot of contest on the internet these days, and it’s sad to see them not getting enough attention. There are so many creative people out there who just don’t find these, or for some reason aren’t motivated enough to enter them. So with this blog, I hope to give the contest a boost in it’s final days.
The contest is sponsored by Mozy, an online backup service. They offer a cheap way to back up you computer in case it crashes. Or, if your looking for something free (like me =P) They offer 2GB free.
So because there is a company behind this contest, there are some huge prizes! A holiday to Hawaii, Mac laptops, Flip cams and more. I’d really like to see some of these prizes go to people within the YouTube community.

So after reading Rohan’s latest blog, which takes a look at the “hot spots” in his latest video using the insight feature on youtube, I thought I’d do a bit of investigating myself.
